New Video(s): Jhené Aiko - Never Call Me feat. Kurupt

What a great way to end Pisces season!

Our ethereal queen, Jhené Aiko, gave us a 2-for-1 special with the release of her latest videos for "Never Call Me" -- a stand-out track from her sophomore album, TRIP

Each video showcases a different side of Jhené that we've yet to see as she get's real about herself, her love, and how she deserves to be treated. We absolutely live for her putting a lover in their place, and both the song and the videos for it, surely don't disappoint.

In the Vevo version of her video, she channels Izanami no Kami, who's the Goddess of Creation and Death.

How fitting is it that this Goddess is the center of the story for "Never Call Me"? The song both mourns the ending of a relationship gone bad, and praises the possibilities of what's to come next for her.

Oppositely, the YouTube version of the video is set in Slauson Hills-- the area that raised and shaped her. This version of "Never Call Me" is more playful and showcases the duality of this particular song. It highlights her friends and family who are sure to stand up and fight for her when needed.

She uses this visual to claim back her strength and her identity which is something we all struggle to do at one point or another.

Whether you prefer serene Jhené, or hood Jhené, the 30-year-old delivered a video for both flavors. And arguably since "Never Call Me" is the best song off TRIP, we couldn't imagine  a world where there wasn't two versions of the video available for your viewing pleasure.

Check out the "Never Call Me" visuals below. Let us know which one you like best!
